Dr Chang is able provide thorough and family-focused medical and breastfeeding consultations in the comfort of your own home.

Qualified as a Specialist General Practitioner (Melbourne University MBBS 1998, FRACGP 2008) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (RMIT GCPLC 2008, IBCLC 2012), I can offer post-partum medical care for you and your baby, addressing breastfeeding, gynaecological, obstetric and paediatric issues. There is also opportunity to explore and optimise your emotional well-being in your new role.

A two-hour home visit enables detailed observation of a breastfeeding session and baby’s play/sleep time in your own space. We have time to explore the details regarding home environment and take these into account when developing your tailored and comprehensive feeding and settling plan.

If you have already reached your Medicare Safety Net for the year, as is often the case if you have had IVF or have a private obstetrician, the out-of-pocket costs are lowered significantly to $169.99. Please register at https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/medicare-safety-nets
